Don’t Let Food Control You This Holiday Season

Hello sweet reader.

I wish I could take your hand right now and look you in the eyes as I say…type all this out.

Friend, do not let food control you this Holiday season.

Eat what you want. Enjoy your family. Don’t plan and stress about calories and carbs.

Life is too short and too precious to be spending it obsessed with the fear of getting FAT.

Most people don’t want to eat the pie and the mashed potatoes and the rolls, not because they think it is unhealthy for their bodies but because they fear gaining weight.

This fear controls too many of us and it’s time to put it to an end.

Just eat. Stop when your full. Listen to your body.

Please remember that FAT is not a death sentence. It’s a word to describe having more of you to love. 😉

Its time to enjoy freedom and end the diet rollercoaster you’re on. You need to get off the ride and go enjoy your life.

Food is not something to reward yourself with or to punish yourself with. It’s food. Enjoy it. Make memories.

STOP OBSESSING OVER YOUR BODY.

You’re so much more than what you believe people will perceive you as.

Have an amazing Thanksgiving sweet friends.

Great words of wisdom. I am an emotional eater so I pick up sweets when stressed. I hate the idea of saying never have it because I want it even more. So I try to pratice the three bite rule. I chew slowly so it takes a while. It helps when I grab a bag of chips or cookies to know I can have it but I will savor it at the same time. The slow process ends helping me feel more satisfied.

That’s a great way to enjoy what you like without indulging. I totally get it! xoxo!
